Feile Dhoire 2013 – Parent Food Rota

We appreciate the parental support for the weekend, this is important to make the weekend a success for everyone involved.  The plan for the weekend is that the parents of the Girls team will provide food for Friday and parents of the Boys team will provide food for Saturday.

Further details are available below:

Slaughtmanus 0:15 1:09 Ballerin

The seniors lost away to Slaughtmanus by 0-15 to 1-9 in pouring rain. They faded in the last few minutes at a stage when they were just a point behind but overall it was a decent enough performance.

Slaughtmanus led by 0-8 to 0-6 at half time and ten minutes into the second half they were five points in front. Paul Ferris with a goal and point cut the gap to the minimum but a fortunate free gave the home team a two point lead and they pushed on from there.

Ballerin scorers were Paul Ferris 1-3, Gary Keane 0-4, Liam Brown and Cathal Faulkner 0-1 each.

This week is eagerly looked forward to be the club members as they host Philadelphia in boys football and St Brigid’s Roscommon in girls football. The club would like to thank the families who have accommodated the visitors.
