Eleven of the senior panel were unavailable for the away game against Ogra Colmcille on Sunday. Most of them in Poland on holiday (cheap vodka) so it was a strange looking team that took the field at Drumullan but they still came away with a comfortable 1-16 to 1-7 victory.

Ballerin’s All Ireland Hurling Winners

The girls were not the only ones to shine in the Feile. Under 14 footballers Seàn and Oisin Doherty were on the Kevin Lynch’s team that won Division One of the hurling by beating Dunloy 0-11 to 1-4.

A tough one for the Doherty boys mother Michelle who hails from Dunloy but at least she could support two teams in an All Ireland final!!

Feile na nGael Camogie – Welcome!

The club extend a warm welcome to Kilconieron – Galway (who we host), Burt – Donegal and St. Bride’s – Louth as they visit this weekend in the Feile na nGael Camogie.

It all starts up at the pitch on Friday with the first game at 2:00PM followed by the Feile parade which takes place at Owenbeg on Friday evening at 7pm.

Matches start again from 11:00AM on Saturday and on Saturday evening after 6pm Mass there will be a barbecue and entertainment at the club hall and grounds.
