Youth Presentation 2014 – One to remember!

On Saturday night in Errigal Hall there was a full house for the annual youth presentations. The special guests were Sinead Faulkner (Ladies Football), Katie McEnely (McCauley) (Camogie) and Sean Leo McGoldrick ( Football). All three speakers congratulated the club on the work they were doing for the young people of the club.

The overall award for the outstanding youth player went to Caitlin Higgins who plays under 16 Camogie, Under 16 Ladies Football and Senior Camogie. The club’s under 14 Camogie team were the only Derry winners in the All Ireland Feile. They were presented with the Barney McNicholl Memorial Cup for being the best team in the club this year. Their performance was highlighted by Katie McEneley who made a point of attending the game.

Over eighty young people entertained the large crowd with a dance routine and Christmas songs. Grace Mullan and Caitlin Moore both sang individually and quite beautifully as well. Paul Mullan was MC for the occasion.

It was quite a night, well done to Melinda and her youth committee.
