Our Feile team did us proud today but just couldn’t get the scores to win their Cup Semi Final, we where beaten by Creatlach from Clare who went on to win the final. Buffers Alley (our host team) had a similar fate in their Semi Final.
Unlucky girls it was a fantastic couple of days, you showed skills to match any team in the competition and should fear no one!
We wish Buffers Alley a safe trip home, we really enjoyed having you for the weekend. We continue to strike it lucky with like minded visiting clubs.
A BIG THANK you to Melinda and Katrina for the work they have put in over the past few months preparing for Feile and to all who helped out over the weekend. #UTS
The senior footballers suffered another defeat in the league on Sunday in a game played in wet and slippery conditions. Visitors Doire Trasna scored a first ever adult win over Ballerin but their 2-07 to 0-9 victory was handed on a plate due to some poor passing and sloppy play which coughed up most of the visitors scores. Doire Trasna led by 2-4 to 0-4 with the aid of the aid of a strong breeze but Ballerin could never get closer than three points.
The team was Ronan Mullan, Callum Bradsley, Shea Doherty, Stephen Mullan, Mark Ferris, Pascal McKay, Anton Bradley, Willie McGilligan, Jarleth Mooney, Paul Keane, Shaun Mullan, Paul Ferris, Shane Ferris, Gary Keane, Bobby Mullan. Subs Robert Brown and John McGinley. The scorers were Gary Keane 0-6, Shaun Mullan, John McGinley and Mark Ferris 0-1 each.
