Kick for Kolkata

Michael “Bab” Keating and Kevin O’Riordan will visit the club grounds on Wednesday (2nd Mar) Morning @8.25 AM to kick a Point.

Babs has an ambitious plan of raising funds for his cause by kicking a point in every GAA Club pitch in Ireland in a project entitled “Kick for Kolkata”. He has already visited a number of Counties with the remaining Counties being visited between now and St. Patrick’s Day when he will kick the final point in Croke Park at the All-Ireland Club Finals. The charity Kolkata is for under privileged children in Calcutta where Tipperary man Kevin O’Riordan has taught. O’Riordain plans to kick a point in every GAA pitch in Ireland which is a total of 1616. Come along and support this worthy charity. The pair were in the south of the county on Tuesday and in the north and city this Wednesday.

Last Man Standing – Week 3

Week 3 of Last Man Standing and there are 26 still on their feet, mainly due to Armagh, with Caven and Tyrone pulling the remainer through. We lost 29, Derry:-( and Meath took care of most of them.

Week 4 will have a big focus on Galway with over half of those standing banking on them, 7 will be lighting candles for for Laios (it worked for Armagh).
Best off luck to all 26 for next weeks games!
