Weekly Round Up – March 28th

The under 14 team had two games in the Feile na nOg on Saturday morning. They were very unlucky to lose to Limavady in the first game by 5-2 to 2-9 but won the other easily against Doire Colmcille.

The first round of the league takes place on 10th April with a home game against Doire Trasna.

The under 12 mini league starts on Saturday 9th April with an away game against Lissan. The other teams in the 2B group are Ballymaguigan, Limavady, Drumsurn, Desertmartin and Greenlough.

The Last Man Standing 2016!

Congratulations to Fergal Bradley who has won £500 and the prestigious title of ‘Last Man Standing 2016’! Fergal and Maureen Mullan where the final 2 players left, with Derry’s draw with Meath knocking Maureen out and Cavan beating Laois winning it for Fergal!

Ballerin 1-11 0-10 Faughanvale (O’Hagan Cup SF)

Well done to the seniors who reached the final of the James O’Hagan Cup with a hard earned 1-11 to 0-10 victory over Faughanvale. The visitors led by 0-7 to 0-5 at half time but Ballerin had the better of the second half and a late goal by top scorer Eugene Mullan clinched the victory. Ballerin will meet the winners of Steelstown and Glenullin in the final. The scorers were Eugene Mullan 1-4, Ryan Deighan and Gary Keane 0-2 each, Shaun Mullan, Mark Ferris and Liam Brown 0-1 each.
