Camogs win first ever Ulster match

Our Senior Camogs recorded their first ever win in the Ulster Championship on Sunday when they came away with a 3-5 to 2-3 win against Port Mor of Armagh at Blackwatertown and there was lots of water!!

Heavy rain made playing conditiond difficult but Ballerin battled hard and went in at the break three points up.
After the restart Port Mor found their feet and after two quick goals it seemed Ballerin were in deep trouble.
Pauline Robinson pointed from play and Danielle Ferris followed quickly with a long range ball that confused the keeper to the back of the net.

Port Mor tagged two more points from frees and the game was hanging in the balance.
Adrieene Bradley attacked from midway and was fouled. Ballerin then saw Katrina O’Kane rattle the net and Ballerin running out deserving winners by a five point margin to move on to the next round.

Well done to the team and management on an excellent victory.
