At a well attended 74th Annual General Meeting in the club rooms on Friday (12th Jan 18) night all the main officers were returned but there are some new faces on some of the sub committees. Not a single person who was proposed for a position turned it down. Chairman Paddy Higgins described 2017 as a year of progress on all fronts but saddened by the untimely death of senior player Shaun Mullan. He thanked the many club volunteers for their commitment but said that there was still more work to do.

The Annual Bazaar will take place this Sunday 17th in the Errigal Hall at 8:30pm, bingo starts an hour earlier at 7-30pm.
Tickets are now available for the main draw 1st Prize 1,000 pound, 2nd Prize 300 Litres of Oil.
Due to the tragic accident this week involving our senior player Shaun Mullan, there will be no club events or participation until further notice. This includes Scor, Weekly Bingo and the Annual Club Presentation. Our thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends. The Club mass tomorrow (Sunday 18th November) morning will go ahead at 10am.
A club mass will be held in St Mary’s Church this Sunday (19th November) at 10am for all deceased, past and present members.
A book of remembrance is available this week at the back of the chapel for anyone who wishes to record the name of a loved one. This will then be presented as part of the mass.
We invite everyone to wear their club colours.
We are holding a Coach Education session on Sat 11th Nov @11am for approx 2 hours. The session will be delivered by Richard Ferris and Chris Collins. All coaches and interested parents are invited to attend.

We hosted a U10 Football Blitz today, a big thank you to the seven teams that supported the event, the day that it was. The teams taking part were Craigbane, Kilrea, Portglenone, St. Ergnats Moneyglass, Drum, Greenlough and Coleraine. Ballerin won the Cup Final against Craigbane and Kilrea won the Shield Final against Drumsurn. Many thanks to all the teams and everyone who supported, it was a great day of football! Very well done to our boys and girls on thier win!!
Next week from 7th to 11th August there is all kinds of action for children aged 4 to 12 in the GAA Hall. Play games and learn some Irish is the focus of the event.
All those attending Cúl Camp should have received registration forms with their kits. If not, there are spares in the purple box in the clubrooms. We would appreciate if these could be returned tomorrow or asap to Amy, Martina or Gemma or leave them back in the purple box for collection. Payment can be made to one of those mentioned above or on the first morning.
